New Directions Delaware, Inc. is a support group for people with depression or bipolar disorder (manic depression) and for their families and friends. We are located in Wilmington, Delaware, and our members come from Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maryland.
We offer support meetings twice a month (on the second and third Monday) and educational meetings once a month (on the fourth Monday), as well as a major speaker once a year. Unless otherwise noted, our meeting are held at Aldersgate Methodist Church, 2313 Concord Pike, Fairfax, Wilmington, Delaware. Registration is at 6:45 p.m., meetings begin at 7:15 p.m. (Click here for a map)

For the 17th consecutive year, New Directions will also present awards to outstanding participants and to professionals who have assisted the support group in achieving its goals. The public is invited. To protect confidentiality, names of participants receiving awards will be announced at the program. The professional and public awards are the following:
- Professional of the Year: Fran DiDomenicis, Ph.D.
- Organization of the Year: Active Minds, University of Delaware Chapter
- Media Person of the Year: Chuck Tarver, former Station Manager, WVUD
